How this division operates
We do not just charter our vessels to our Clients. We strive
to take that extra mile in servicing the Clients with a
comprehensive solution to their ocean transportation needs.
We will provide the Clients with the most cost effective
solution. First understanding the Clients needs and
exploring all possible solutions on cost as well as cargo
and handling requirements is how part of the effort to achieve
cost effectiveness is done. The other aspect is the security
of the cargo, flexibility and environmental considerations
for hazardous cargo are very important to design the total
cost effective solution.
Here are some of our Ship Operating Clients
PT. Jawa Power
PT. Jawa Power is one of the largest independent power plants
in Indonesia located at Paiton, East Java. Because of the
magnitude of the project at Paiton, Paiton Power Station
was segmented into Paiton 1, Paiton 2 and Paiton 3. PT.
Jawa Power is called as Paiton 2.
Since 1998, Andhika transported coal supplies from loading
areas in the eastern part of Kalimantan to the PT. Jawa
Power project site at Paiton 2, East Java.
Balongan Project
One of Indonesias mega projects in crude oil production
and today it has become one Indonesias prominent oil
refineries site. For the erection of the project, Andhika
has participated in carrying project cargoes by sea from
Japan to the project site.
Balikpapan Project
Is the largest refinery in East Indonesia. Andhika was
deeply involved at the early beginning of this huge project.
The company was responsible for delivering the projects
cargo by sea from Japan.
Cilacap Project
Is another huge crude oil refinery of the state giant
oil and gas company Pertamina. Here again Andhika Group
of Companies was one of the entrusted shipping companies
to deliver the projects cargo by sea from Japan.
Others
Working for various independent coal mines in Kalimantan. Andhika
is responsible to transport the coal from anchorage loading
area to export destinations, ie: Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
One of the preeminent reasons for being awarded these contracts
is because Andhika possesses the vessels that have met the
specialized requirements to undertake each project. In the
case of the transportation of coal the vessels would need
to have the specialized capabilities inherent to the design
of the vessel. Andhika Group of Companies was able to provide
this.
